Sunday, 2 Setpember 2007 marked the European Day of Jewish Culture. The Jewish Museum in Prague opened the Jewish Cemetery in Žižkov, Fibichova street, to the public from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

A new issue of the journal Judaica Bohemiae XLII has just been published. It includes papers on the selling off of Czech Torah scrolls in 1964, medieval Hebrew inscriptions on tombstones and in synagogues in Cheb, the Prague sojourn of Rabbi Jacob Emden in 1722, and the Prague-based Hebrew censor Karl Fischer (1757–1844).
