The Foundation has no liabilities.
3. Donations received:
In the year 2000 the Foundation received a donation
of CZK 1,000.
Donor: Mrs Michele Huppert, 31/461 St. Kilda Rd., Melbourne 3004 Victoria,
Australia.
Donations to the Foundation in the year 2000 amounted
to: CZK 1,000.
4. Expenses:
a) Donation of CZK 12,000.
This sum was provided to the Benešov Memorial, o.p.s., based at Žižkova
535, 256 01 Benešov ( Identity No. 18623671) on the basis of an agreement
for the provision of financial resources concluded between the Benešov
Memorial and the Foundation on 12 March 1996 and on the basis of an
addendum to this agreement concluded on 12 March 1996. This sum went
towards the maintenance and running of the Memorial Hall for the Victims
of Nazism, the maintenance of the area around the Memorial and the routine
running of the exhibition that is located here.
a) Donation of CZK 13,500.
This sum was provided to the Aleš Hrdlieka Museum, based at Horní náměstí
273, 39601 Humpolec (Identity No. 696 38 549) on the basis of an agreement
for the provision of financial resources concluded between the Aleš
Hrdlieka Museum and the Foundation on 26 October 2000. This sum went
towards the restoration of a Hebrew prayer manuscript.
Donations provided by the Foundation in the year
2000 amounted to: CZK 25, 500
1. Administration costs
In addition to the above amounts, the Foundation
remunerated Mrs. Milada Kimlová (address: Lermontova 17/175, 160 00
Praha 6, Identity No.: 44872411) for book-keeping and accounting work
in the year 2000 for the year 1999 - amount: CZK 600.
The above amount is the only cost associated with
administration of the Foundation. It can therefore be stated that total
administrative costs (pursuant to Article 21 sub-section 2 of Act No.
227/1997 Coll., on foundations and foundation funds and on a modification
of and amendment to certain related laws) were minimal in the year 2000
and that the limit for foundation costs was not exceeded pursuant to
Article 22 of the above law.
2. Appraisal of financial statements
On the basis of the submitted financial statements
for the year 2000 it can be stated that the Foundation managed its assets
in the year 2000 without incurring considerable expenses, and that as
of 31 December 2000 the amount from which can be drawn resources for
the provision of contributions (i.e. after deducting the Foundation's
capital of CZK 500,000 pursuant to Article 3, sub-section 4 of the above-mentioned
law) totals CZK 640,380.73.
3. Auditor's Report
According to the Auditor's Report for the year ended
31 December 2000, "the financial statements have been prepared
in accordance with the Act on accounting and with relevant legal regulations
of the Czech Republic and, in all significant aspects, give a true and
fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and financial
results of the Jewish Museum in Prague Foundation
4. The Auditor's Report is an integral part of this
Annual Report.
