The Czech Centres, in association with the Museum of Czech Literature, are holding a reading on Thursday on 19 April 2007, 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. Entitled Literature Night 2007, this is the second year of a project that aims to familiarize people in a unique way with the literature of countries where the Czech Centres are based.
Literature from Argentina, the Czech Republic, Japan, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Rumania, Scandinavia and Spain will be featured at nine little known venues in Prague that are often closed to the public.
You are free to choose which venues and readings to attend. Readings will be on the half-hour, starting at 6 p.m. and finishing at 11 p.m. Readings will also take place in the Spanish Synagogue.
Literature Night 2007 is being held under auspices of the Mayor of Prague, Pavel Bém.
