PRAGUE MUSEUM NIGHT 2008

Prague Museum Night

Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 10.30 p.m. until 1 a.m.
 
Fifth Prague Museum Night takes place on June 14th 2008 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. The whole project is again organized by the National Museum, Prague Public Transport Company Inc. and Association of Museum and Galleries of the Czech Republic in cooperation with other museums and cultural institutions. The project takes place with financial support by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
The Prague Jewish Museum is also taking part in this project. It will be opening the doors to the Klausen Synagogue and the Ceremonial Hall of the Prague Burial Society after the end of the Sabbath, from 10.30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Visitors can attend free guided tours of the exhibitions.

The meaning of the synagogue and the Jewish festivals, everyday Jewish family life and the customs associated with birth, circumcision, bar mitzvah, wedding, divorce and the Jewish household.
