A concert of the Dresden Synagogue Choir featuring scores by Salomon Sulzer, former Prague choirmaster David Rubin, Louise Lewandowski, Charles Davidson and Ben Steinberg, as well as pieces by modern Israeli composers. The choir was founded in the 1960s in Dresden by Chief Cantor Werner Sander to perform at religious services. Always a women’s choir, it has been led since 1988 by choirmaster Ursula Philipp-Drescher. Vocal solos performed by Rabbi and Cantor Alexander Nachama. Accompanied on the organ by Katarina Kulakowa. Tickets can be purchased at the Maisel Synagogue or the Jewish Museum's Information and Reservation Centre at Maiselova 15, Prague 1. Admission CZK 120.
