THE RETURN (Poland/USA, 83 min., in English and Polish with English subtitles). Screening of a documentary of the same name by a New York filmmaker, Adam Zucker, depicting the unique reality of the Polish Jewish present. In the movie, four stories of women raised in Catholicism who discovered Judaism in their adolescence intertwine. Zucker attempts to depict their struggle to form a live Jewish identity and community in a land which once was an epicenter of the Jewish world. The author will be present at the screening followed by a discussion. In English. Admission free.
