Statement of the Jewish Museum in Prague on the game Pokémon GO

The Jewish Museum in Prague, in accordance with statements by the State Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau, the Holocaust Museum in Washington and a number of other memory institutions,
considers playing Pokémon GO at places connected historically or thematically with war suffering extremely inappropriate, insensitive and disturbing with regard to the piety of
memorial sites. The museum will do all it can to ensure that its premises are not used for this game and relies on the understanding of its visitors in this matter.
