The Museum of Slovak National Uprising in co-operation with the Jewish Museum in Prague organised two screenings of the film Return to a Burning House accompanied by a public debate within the project Haviva - Return to European Remembrance.

The events took place in the cities of Brno (on 26th November 2014) and Prague (on 27th November 2014) and were hosted by the Jewish Museum in Prague.
The Brno event enjoyed an audience of 60 people and was attended by the film producer Mirka Molnar Lachka and director Anna Gruskova. The Prague event had 40 people participating including the film director Anna Gruskova.

The ambition of the events was to create awareness of the film and inspire discussions on the related historical context and its impact on the Jewish community.

The project Haviva - Return to European Remembrance was funded with the support of the European Union under the Programme "Europe for Citizens". Read more about the project here: http://www.muzeumsnp.sk/projekty/chaviva-navrat-do-europskej-pamate/
