Curator of Archive: Vlastimila Hamackova The Museum Archives contain extant documents of the Jewish communities of Bohemia and Moravia, as well as the collections of certain Jewish associations and organisations, a small collection of private papers and a collection of sheet music. A small archive collection was put together by the Museum before the Second World War. Most of the written documents that are now stored in the archives came to the Museum during the Nazi occupation in connection with a shipment of property belonging to the liquidated Jewish communities of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Documents pertaining to individual Jewish communities comprise photographs of synagogues, ghettos and cemeteries, field survey reports, bibliographies and other sources concerning the history of specific Jewish settlements. Address: Smichov synagogue, Stroupeznickeho 32, Prague 5
