Židovská menšina v Československu ve 30. letech [The Jewish Minority in Czechoslovakia in the 1930s]

Published at the end of 2004, this is a collection of papers from a lecture series given at the Jewish Museum's Education and Culture Centre in Prague – The Jewish Minority in the Czechoslovak Republic in the 1930s. It follows on from a previous collection that focused on the 1920s. Blanka Soukupová from the Faculty of Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, was involved in putting together the collection and also contributed a paper on the Czech Jewish movement, manifestations of anti-Semitism and mutual relations between Jews and President Masaryk. The other contributors (Kateřina Čapková, Radka Čermáková, Hedvika Novotná, Peter Salner and Marie Zahradníková) focus on Zionist movements, the relation of Czech Jews to Palestine, the situation in Slovakia and the testimonies of Shoah survivors and witnesses.
