Unique recordings by the Emil Ludvík Orchestra with arrangements by Fritz Weiss, made in 1940–1941. A real treat for jazz aficionados, prepared by the Jewish Museum in Prague in collaboration with the gramophone collector Gabriel Gössel. This 71-minute CD is the first ever release of recordings of popular tunes from the early 1940s arranged by the Jewish musician Fritz Weiss (born in Prague, 28 September 1919) – one of the most influential Jazz figures of Prague in the late 1930s.
