tips for visitors
Visitors are requested to respect the cultural significance and solemnity of the sites of the Jewish Museum in Prague:
- Appropriate clothes should be worn and shoulders should be covered when entering these sites.
- Men are required to wear a head covering in the Old Jewish Cemetery and the Pinkas Shoah memorial – you can borrow or (for CZK 5) buy a kippah when entering the Old Jewish Cemetery.
- Bag searches and large luggage: for everyone's safety all bags, rucksacks, packages and personal items may be searched before entry.
- Wheeled cases and large items of luggage are not allowed on Jewish Museum premises. Please note that the Jewish Museum in Prague does not have a left luggage office. Storage for luggage is available at major rail and bus stations.
Thank you. For more information, see the Visitor Regulations of the Jewish Museum in Prague.
