Basic tips

  • ​​Want to avoid crowds? We recommend avoiding the busiest hours 11 - 15. In the morning or later in the afternoon, you will enjoy the visit with much smaller company.

Paying respect 


Visitors are requested to respect the cultural significance and solemnity of the sites of the Jewish Museum in Prague:

  • Appropriate clothes should be worn and shoulders should be covered when entering these sites.
  • Bag searches and large luggage: for everyone's safety all bags, rucksacks, packages and personal items may be searched before entry.
  • ​Wheeled cases and large items of luggage are not allowed on Jewish Museum premises. Please note that the Jewish Museum in Prague does not have a left luggage office. Storage for luggage is available at major rail and bus stations.
