Vienna Jewish Choir – Vienna, Austria
Artistic Director: Roman Grinberg
Founded in 1989, the Vienna Jewish Choir is dedicated to the revival and preservation of Yiddish song and Jewish folk traditions that were nearly lost with European Jewry. Through music, the choir builds bridges between cultures and affirms the enduring place of Jewish music within Vienna’s rich contemporary cultural life. The ensemble brings together Jewish and non-Jewish singers in a shared spirit of artistic collaboration and human connection. Performing repertoire rooted in generations of tradition, the choir seeks to create performances that are both moving and culturally meaningful, fostering intercultural understanding through music and community.

Zemel Choir – London, United Kingdom
Artistic Director: Benjamin Wolf
The Zemel Choir is proud of its international reputation as one of the world's finest mixed-voice Jewish choirs. We regularly sing in Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino and English, performing liturgical music, music from Jewish folk traditions, and music by Jewish composers. We perform in major venues in the UK and are proud to perform works by contemporary composers. The choir is committed to fostering communication between Jewish choirs and the wider world. Recent highlights include performances at Westminster Abbey and Norwich Cathedral, our own interfaith festival (Faithful Voices) in 2022 and 2024, and performances at the European Jewish Choral Festivals, first established in London in 2012 and most recently held in Paris (2025). We have made a number of recordings, including of the music of Louis Lewandowski, of works from the English Jewish Music Tradition, and of lighter works from our repertoire. The choir is also committed to educational and charitable activities, participating in school workshops and concerts for various charities and homes. The Zemel Choir prides itself on its welcoming, family feel. We welcome singers from any background who are interested in Jewish music and culture.

Programme

Coro Ha-Kol – Rome, Italy
Artistic Director: Alberto De Sanctis
Coro Ha-Kol was founded in December 1993 on the initiative of singers at the Great Synagogue of Rome, alongside other lovers of Jewish music wishing to preserve the musical and liturgical heritage of the local Jewish Community, one of the oldest in Europe. Over the years, the choir’s repertoire has been gradually enriched by the works of composers who lived between the eighteenth and twentieth centuries, as well as by music of the Sephardi and Ashkenazi traditions. Recently, the choir has also performed contemporary music, including liturgical music and pieces inspired by Jewish life. The choir is made up of amateur singers (sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses) and is currently conducted by Maestro Alberto De Sanctis.

Its diverse repertoire spans continents, languages, and centuries, embracing the full spectrum of Jewish choral traditions while striving for the highest musical excellence.
